Numerous celebrities have very unremarkable real names. A surprising number of them wanted to sound a little cooler, so they have sought and opted catchy pseudonym for the sake of show business. Check out these celebrities who changed their birth-given names.

 

Steven Tyler, born Steven Victor Tallarico, is best known as the lead singer of rock ban Aerosmith. The singer was mostly involved with drug rehabilitation, sobriety for 12 years, a relapse with prescription painkillers in the late 2000s. The name Tyler became a household name after his remarkable comeback in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Elizabeth Grant, better known by her stage name Lana Del Rey, has been described as a “self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra.”
